Oak Barrels
These are beautifully handcrafted oak barrels and oak keg. The oak barrels are handcrafted from the best American white oak, to a medium char. All of the whisky barrels are individually made by experienced coopers, one oak barrel at a time, and they are WAX (PARAFIN) FREE!

Beware of varnished oak barrels. The varnish can leach into the flavor of your spirit. We will not sell whisky barrels with varnish or wax.

These oak barrels or kegs are manufactured specifically for our network.

Made from American White Oak for aging Whiskey, Rum, Scotch, Brandy, Cognac, Tequila, and Bourbon, Wine Vinegar or any spirit that benefits from aging. Our whisky barrels are hand crafted for the home-winemaker, brewer, or distiller and make a wonderful centerpiece for the bar or kitchen.

Small barrels like these are perfect for folks who want to try out the different aging processes and aging of different spirits.

Curing Your oak Barrel
First rinse the inside of the oak barrel by filling and emptying 2  times to remove any wood debris. Prior to use, your oak barrel must be filled with water or submerged for approximately 1 to 2 days. This will allow the oak to expand and retain liquid. (the barrel may leak until cured) After this initial curing period, place the barrel on the holder in a dry area. Liquid will continue to slowly drain through the wood for the following 1 to 2 days. Keep the barrel filled during this time. When the oak barrel stops draining, empty the contents and rinse again. You are now ready to fill with your spirits.
